FCCC Loves Kids! Every week about 200 children enjoy Adventureland programming which is offered during both Sunday services for infants through grade 5. Introduce your kids to Adventureland and experience FCCC’s commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation that children can build their lives on.
The nursery is for infants and toddlers up to 24 months. We provide a safe loving place for these children to play, laugh and snuggle. Our volunteers build secure relationships with these children and make sure their physical needs are met. You can enjoy the service while knowing your little ones are well cared for.
In this room volunteers introduce stories from the Bible through our First Look curriculum along with crafts, songs, toys and sensory experiences. Our themes through the year include ‘God Made Me’, ‘God Loves Me’ and ‘Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever’.
Preschoolers will enjoy being introduced to stories from the Bible through our First Look curriculum along with crafts, songs, toys and sensory experiences. Our themes through the year are ‘God Made Me’, ‘God Loves Me’ and ‘Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever’.
This is a fun and exciting room which provides not only care, but also a program which offers a deeper look into the Bible. We do this through a creative large group production for the first part of our morning, using the 252 Basics curriculum, and then break out into small groups to discuss the lesson. Through games, crafts, activity centers and conversation the children learn how the lesson may apply to their lives.
In this room we follow the same format as JK and SK, but use a little more structure during our small group time. We begin the morning with an exciting large group production using the 252 Basics curriculum, which we share with JK/SK. We then have our small group time, which includes games, crafts, activity centers and discussion of the morning lesson and its relevance in the children’s day-to-day lives.
Programming for Grade 4-5 starts with an activity related to the theme of the morning. We take part in the large group production with JK-Grade 3, using the 252 Basics curriculum, and then reconnect for a small group discussion and other activities that help foster understanding of the morning’s theme and how it relates to their lives.
